
In half way between Olsztyn and Ostróda, there is a picturesque village called Gietrzwałd. This is where The Warmińska Inn a restaurant different to any other is located. Warmińska Inn is especially famous for its food and climate. The carefully restored interior of the inn is adjacent to a large courtyard with characteristic turn of the century regional architecture. An added attraction is the rich collection of historic objects used in the past in the countryside.The Inn is also the organizer of a number of themed events including Jewish, Cossack and Gypsy evenings. Upon your request we are ready to add scenery and arrange a night of you dream. Guests will be placed at three halls: merchant (70-80 people), peasant (30 people) or gentry (10 people).
In the summer we also play in the courtyard of the restaurant (250-300 seats).
Our inn is famous for its very good, regional cuisine. Guests have a choice of local and traditional specialties, Monk or the Innkeeper Trays loaded with variety of meat, dumplings and veg. We also serve excellent fish dishes.
Adapting to the needs of our guests we organize additional events such as barbecue, fireplace, making own dumplings, “baking fingers", and closer to the holiday season we welcome you to bake bread, molding pottery, painting stained glass, hoof hammering, as well as molding beeswax candles.

In 1998 we received a diploma in the sixth edition of the Bass Pan Contest for entrusting the traditional rules of regional cuisine.
